The Musical Journey Of Hannes O.F
Hannes O.F, also known as Kwame Nyarko or O.F chale, was born and bred in Accra, Ghana. Introduced to a number of cultures and languages, he speaks English, Twi and fante fluently and absorbed a diverse palate of music growing up as a child. The love for music, as well as fashion was born from countlessly hearing and seeing older siblings dabble in that field during his childhood. In 2015, he would go on to release his first cover single dabbed “Be Honest” on Soundcloud as well as other records such as “Hard Nut”, “Jewels” & “6pm In Sota” in the subsequent years. In 2019, he released a major single titled “Ties” featuring $pacely of La meme gang which went on to widen and allow him tap into a new domain of listeners.
As a result of the 2020 covid-19 pandemic, going to the studio and meeting up with other creatives to work proved difficult and led to a hiatus in the typical release schedule he works with. However in 2021, a two-track project titled “Loaded Demos” was released which was executively produced by AKA Alkemist (formally known as AK Beatz”). Early 2022 saw Hannes O.F start off the year with “Better Have My Money” the lead single to his upcoming Debut E.P, “Gone Are The Dayz : The Prelude” .
The 7-Track EP, presented as a reference to the transition of his sound to a new chapter yet to be flipped over is filled with guest appearances from The BadGhanaMan & Jaleel Thomas, as well as productions from Owu6u, Donnie Katana, Jon CB, Natbeats, LLouis, FROG and D’Artizt. With Mixing and Mastering handled by BADSZN & JNKVNGZ. The tape is scheduled for release in October 2022 with a date yet to be confirmed.
