#Manifestivities22 ;a concert by legendary Ghanaian rapper M.anifest saw a showcase of scintillating performances on December 18th at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra.
The concert initially started out as an intimate show a decade ago on the GodMC’s return to Ghana from the states and has expanded over the years to feature performances from fellow superstars like Burna Boy, Simi and Sarkodie. The latest instalment however featured Kwesi Arthur, Tneeya, The Cavemen, Gyakie and M.anifest as headliners.
DJs on rotation were Eff The DJ and B. Brave and MC’d by the ever active Kojo Manuel taking the party from VIP to the last audience member in the Arena stands.
The night was full of highs with the introduction of a crop of new artists dubbed “Gen Next”, handpicked by M Dot as the next up in the Ghanaian music scene. The “Gen Next” are Baaba J, Marince Omario, Juma Mufasa, Koo Kusi and Yung Demz. The crowd response was telling of the potential of these relatively new artists who lit the arena up with their performances.
The Bukom Arena sung along to back to back hits from the headliners serving proper highlife music from The Cavemen, afrobeats hits from Tneeya and Gyakie and HipHop favourites from Kwesi Arthur.
