Guess Who, An Extended Play By RBD
GUESS WHO EP by R.B.D. was announced on Twitter on 30th October 2021, released on digital platforms on 27th November that same year, and distributed worldwide by Stereo 6 Music. Guess Who EP has 5 songs that were recorded between August and September 2021 in Accra, Ghana.
The tape was produced mainly by Aaron Dugud, with other producers like MPtainment and WhiteEyes Beatz co-producing some of the songs as well.
The EP essentially symbolizes RBD’s return to music after five years of inactivity (due to law school). Apart from the songs titled “Cheat Wave” and “Glass Nkoaa” which drive home relatable social narratives, the project is largely esoteric, as RBD prefers to use music as his public diary.
However, listeners who pay enough attention to his lyrics may eventually be able to decipher what the other songs really mean.
